The F.W. Lombard Company is a manufacturer of contract furnishings, established in 1898. In addition to our own design, we manufacture items designed outside, but engineered and prototyped by the F.W. Lombard Company. We would welcome the privilege of bidding or quoting you on your needs.

For the manufacturing of our contract furnishings, the F.W. Lombard Company selected Ash, one of the hardest, most durable woods available. Its natural beauty and open grain appearance is enhanced by our five step finishing process, whose top coat is institutional lacquer which is highly resistant to stain and abrasions. We also manufacture in Cherry, Maple, Oak, and Birch (call for pricing).

Construction All of our bending is done with straight grain Ash, carefully selected and bent under controlled conditions. Precompressed tenon construction (F.W. Lombard Co. held the original patent on this process) reinforced with steel pins at key stress points, insures a lasting construction. Our chair, table, and casegood parts are kiln dried to a 6% moisture, and glued with a modern electronic gluer.
